Estimators
Mike Morris
Mike is the Senior Estimator on our team. He covers Western Massachusetts and Connecticut. Mike has been in the remediation business for over 30 years and at Dec-Tam for over 20. Mike worked his way up from an asbestos technician to lead our estimating team. He is responsive and has an excellent understanding of project management and scheduling. Educational institutions and industrial customers are his specialty.
Brent Morgenstern
In 1999, Brent joined Dec-Tam after 10 years in environmental consulting. He covers New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. A former industrial hygienist, Brent’s background includes asbestos and lead project management on projects in excess of $1 million dollars. Brent has an extensive amount of experience of working with educational institutions and federal, state and local governments.
Craig Starkman
Craig joined Dec-Tam in 2004 after spending nearly 15 years on the environmental consulting side of the business. Craig’s territory is Eastern Massachusetts. His experience as an industrial hygienist in auditing and government contract management has enhanced the knowledge of our team of estimators. Craig’s has extensive experience working with hospitals, educational institutions and real estate developers.
Adam Girard
Adam covers Boston, Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Adam joined Dec-Tam in 2007 and has 10 years of experience in remediation estimating, scheduling, and project management. Adam works closely with our hospital, educational and industrial customers.
Specialists
Bruce Sullivan – Soil, Tank Cleaning, Tank Removal, Lab Decontamination
Bruce has over 20 years of experience in the environmental remediation business. When a project involves storage tanks, contaminated soil or laboratories, Bruce will be involved. He develops the estimates and he also acts as project manager on these jobs.
Chris Leger – Interior Demolition
Chris joined our estimating team in 2011. His focus is on developing the demolition portion of the estimates for Dec-Tam. Chris has run his own business and has over 12 years of experience in the demolition and project management areas.
The Dec-Tam Team
Dec-Tam employs four Senior Project Managers, seventeen Project Supervisors and has a labor force in excess of 100 technicians. Dec-Tam also has a Certified Safety Professional and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager on staff.
Currently Dec-Tam has employees with the following credentials on staff:

Field technicians are qualified in the following areas:

- Clean Demolition, Plant Decommissioning and Emergency Response
